Vintage Fairground Swing Boats

Found in France. 1900's

A pair of beautiful, authentic, children's fairground swing boats.

Very distressed metal work. Paint chipped and flacked.

As expected, being more than 110 years old, their condition is fairly rustic. Each has a little rust in places, one seat has been replaced and the paint effect has been knocked or chipped. These blemishes definitley add to the overall vintage/aged look.

The metal boats are structurally sturdy and the red,white,green and yellow colours are a classic fairground fearture. 

We also have the original yellow metal poles that attach to the boats (picture two shows the holes) so that they can swing but they are for decorative/display use only.

These would be an amazing feature in any location as they are highly unusual and very colourful.

We have the long yellow poles that fix to the boats, that make them swing.
